{Zavin Craig} Southaven, MS Photography

I have a nephew! His name is Zavin Craig, and he was born June 16th. I'm looking forward to being Uncle Alex who teaches him all sorts of boyish shenanigans. I already have an inappropriate song prepared to teach him. So excited! I'm so happy for my sister, ShaRhonda, and her hubby, Isaiah, for adding another cutie to the roster.

Here are some pictures I took three days after Zavin was born. He's going to be such a cool little man.

                                                                       But I still love my nieces as well. Cuties :)

{Hayley Hammons + Caleb Franklin} Nashville, TN Photography

Never have I seen a friendship quite like Hayley and Caleb's (they're not engaged). That's right they are friends, but I wouldn't say "just friends." If I have my story right, Hayley and Caleb have been friends since they were young. They grew up together and still haven't grew apart. They both even moved to the same college. Caleb contacted me to photograph Hayley as a surprise for her birthday. (Pause)......(and the girls go, "awwwwww!") What a sweet guy huh? We all had so much stink'n fun on the photo shoot, and after watching these two together, I can honestly say they give new meaning to the term "best friends."  

Hayley + Caleb, thanks so much for letting me do this for you. It was great hanging with you guys. I hope to see ya when you get back in town. Enjoy your summer!!

{Jesse Snyder} Nashville, TN Photography

I recently had the opportunity to photograph aspiring Nashville singer/songwriter, Jesse Snyder, for his soon to be released EP. The shoot was of course epic, but getting life to stop throwing us both curve balls so we could actually start taking pictures was a minor problem. I'll spare you the details, but Jesse and I both still laugh when thinking about how something so simple ended up being so complex at no fault of our own. Ok, here are some very short, abstract details involved in our struggle:

Tall Grass

Rush Hour

Lost Keys

Super-Magnet

Hospital Visits (neither Jesse or myself)

and a Metal Detector.

Heather Bond is a talented singer/songwriter here in Nahville, TN. This is not her first time on the blog and it's definitely not her first time in front of my camera.
